This device complies with decree 30/2015 of the Generalitat de Catalunya, which obliges sports venues to have a Self-Protection Plan (PAU) that establishes a sanitary device that must be guaranteed on the day of the match, and which will vary depending on the capacity of the facility, which in the case of Spotify Camp Nou is more than 99,000 people and is currently the largest stadium in Europe.

More than 100 health professionals ensure public health distributed at approximately 40 points located throughout the enclosure. In all these spaces there are defibrillators that the bathrooms can move at any point.

The main points of health care are a Central Dispensary (door 59, on the Side), eleven dispensaries distributed in the stands and 6 ambulances located on the perimeter of the enclosure – five for Advanced Life Support (AVS) and one for Basic Life Support (SVB); and in addition, also a dispensary at locker room level and two electric bunk beds on the pitch.

All these spaces are equipped with several semi-automatic defibrillators and defibrillator monitors – more complete equipment, to perform high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation – which can be moved by the bathrooms at any point in the Stadium. If transfer to a hospital is necessary, the reference hospitals are the Clínic (for adults) and Sant Joan de Deu (for children).
