The Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena and the Real Club Náutico de Torrevieja are ready to host the great sailing party today. The VI Camino de la Cruz Regatta, Punta Este Trophy, one of the most attractive gatherings for boats from the south of the Valencian Community and the Region of Murcia, bringing together 73 boats this year.
The regatta committees plan to launch the regatta simultaneously from the clubs of Cartagena, in the southern version, and Torrevieja, in the northern version. The southern fleet will have to deal with a slightly shorter route, with an expected 18.4 nautical miles. After exiting near the RCR in Cartagena, it goes to the main line at Cabo de Palos lighthouse and Hormigas Island.
The boats from Torrevieja have a route of approximately 20.8 nautical miles. After departing at the mouth of the Torrevieja RCN, the boats will head towards Isla Grosa, leaving it to starboard and from there to the finish near the Villas de San Pedro CN.
