The second edition of ESI Golf Solidarithe first test of the 2022 circuit of the charity amateur golf competition organized by the Esport Solidari Internacional foundation, led by the former senator Joseph Maldonadowill be held this weekend at Golf La Roca, with large participation over two days.
The holding of this tournament contributes to sustainability the actions of ESI, a solidarity and sports initiative with various projects underway, not only in Africa but also in Catalonia and the rest of Spain: construction of a school in Deli (Chad); financial support to Jorge Crisafulli and his project in Sierra Leone in favor of girls and young women from the marginal areas of Freetown so that they can grow up to be independent women and live with dignity; shipping clothes by volunteers or by containers to Senegal, Gambia, Cape Verde or the Republic of Congo, among other countries, as well as to Spanish entities and associations; collaboration with ‘El Gregal’ soup kitchen, in the La Mina neighborhood, in Sant Adrià de Besòs; scholarships, In support from Fundació ‘La Caixa’ to federated football clubs since 2009, facilitating the integration of boys and girls at risk of exclusion; projects from the ‘Rackets without Borders’ section, with CTT Ganxets de Reus and the Reus City Council; the Tennis and Mental Health project, sponsored by the Catalan Mental Health Private Foundation-FPSMC, the Catalan Tennis Federation and ESI; or the NDFUNDU project, led by dermatologist María Jesús Torres
