Aminata Diallo was released today under judicial control after leaving prison where he has been held since last Friday for his alleged involvement in the beating of his former PSG teammate Kheira Hamraoui over a matter of rivalry in sports.

The conditions

According to French media, Diallo will not be able to leave the country, or speak to others involved in the case, or to Hamraoui himself or anyone from PSG, and will have to establish residence in his father’s house. The 27-year-old player was charged with “aggravated violence” and “association of malefactors.”

Diallo is suspected of orchestrating the beating of Hamraoui by hooded men armed with iron bars on November 4, 2021, in an attempt to seriously injure him. The goal, according to investigators, was for Diallo to take Hamraoui’s starting job at both PSG and France.

Hamraoui was attacked on the night of November 4 when he was in a car driven by his former PSG teammate Diallo while returning from a fellowship dinner with the entire team.
