Of the 141.8 million expenses budgeted by Jon Uriarte’s board for this season; 103.8 corresponds to the disbursement of Athletic sports and non-sports personnel. Aitor Elizegi allocated a total of 99.6 million to this same item in the forecasts for the previous season, but later the disbursement made increased to 102. The difference between the forecast and the subsequent implementation of previous club managers in Personnel costs have increased, therefore, to 2.5 million euros.
The new president, at least initially, was more restrained in his calculations. Its initial projection is between what was budgeted a year ago in personnel costs and what was produced. This chapter of specific costs, as stated in the proposal to be submitted for consideration by the compromising partners at the October 26 meeting, is divided into three sections: sports personnel, non-sports personnel and social security and others.
Of the 141.8 million total expenses set by the Uriarte directive for this year; 88.6 is reserved for sports staff, 11.5 for non-sports personnel and 3.7 for social security and others. The increase in what defines the sports staff compared to what was planned last year was 2.6 million and what was done was less than a million.
Taking into account non-sports personnel, the current item grows by 1.1 million euros compared to the forecast for the previous year and half a million more than what was done at the closing of the final accounts of the Elizegi board.
