The new sports preparation programs are divided into two blocks. On the one hand, Team España Elite encompasses Spanish athletes and teams with the possibility of achieving a place in the top eight at the next Olympics and a podium at the Paralympic Games.
And, on the other hand, the Team España Strategic Interest aims at athletes who guarantee the continuation of Spanish victories in non-Olympic specialties, but of great importance in projecting Spain’s image to the world, such as cycling or motor racing, among others.
