Double stumble for the Murcian teams in the First RFEF Women’s Futsal

Date:

STV Roldán and LBTL Alcantarilla fell on the day of last Saturday

STV Roldán and La Boca Te Lía Futsal Alcantarilla lost in their clashes this weekend, in a double against Galician teams called to fight for the maximum. Joaquín Peñaranda’s men fell for one of the best teams in Europe, Pescados Rubén Burela, while Alicia Morell’s men lost during their visit to the difficult circuit of Poio Pescamar.

Elite futsal returned to Gabriel Pérez in a game that already took place in the semi-finals for the title last season. On this occasion, Pescados Rubén Burela encountered less opposition than a few months ago, fleeing above all in the success of the yeclana Patricia Ortega, author of a doppelganger. Former STV player Roldán played her best game with the ‘naranxa’ shirt.

The local side took the lead through captain Mayte Mateo with a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area in the seventh minute. STV Roldán widened the gap from the penalty spot, but Laura’s shot was stopped by Jozi. In the second half, the superiority of the visitors was clear, with two goals practically in a row from Patricia and Danny. Burela had the chance to widen the gap with a double penalty, but he missed the shot. It wasn’t until the last minute, with Roldán as the goalkeeper, that Burela’s two goals came in succession: first Patricia, to complete her double, and finally Emilly.

For its part, LBTL Alcantarilla arrived in Galicia at the beginning of the season as a revelation team. Ana Escribano gave Poio’s men the lead after seven minutes with a cross. Midway through the first half, the Galicians made it 2-0 thanks to a rebound from Elena Aragón after Elenita García grabbed a petroleum jelly from Laura Uña under the sticks.

The third of the locals arrived via Elena Aragón after a pass from Marta, to which Paola Cartagena reacted to make it 3-1 after an individual play. Before going to the locker room tunnel, Poio Pescamar’s room, Ana Escribano’s work again arrived with a volley. Most notable in the second half was the eviction of local goalkeeper Sandra Buzón for a handball out of bounds, which Ana Belén took advantage of to make it 4-2 in the next match. The sewer team still had some slack, but the marker wouldn’t move.

With these results, La Boca Te Lía Futsal Alcantarilla is fifth with nine points, one more than STV Roldán, which remains in sixth place. Now there are a few weeks without competition, which will resume on the last weekend of October. The sandwich team will host Rayo Majadahonda, while the pachequeras will visit Joventut d’Elx.
