For his part, the president of the Canarian Automobile Federation, Benito Rodríguez, thanked the media and public institutions for the support they give to motorsports in general and the rally in particular, and emphasized the “tireless work of Julio Martínez, not only the leader of Isla Tenerife, but also helps many clubs in the archipelago in organizing their tests”.

The official presentation of the Rallye Orvecame Isla Tenerife closed with the intervention of the president of the Cabildo Insular de Tenerife, Pedro Martín. “Both the vice president of the Cabildo, Enrique Arriaga – also present at the event – and I, it is clear that we are one of the autonomous communities with the greatest interest in the motor world, so our goal is to continue promoting it as much as possible.. On the other hand, I would like to highlight the full integration that we see with women in motorsports, as well as innovations such as the fact that young Automotive students are present at the rally to enrich their training and, who knows, if one day they will work as a technician in some competition team”, he concluded.
