Roberto Bautista, low in Monte Carlo

The Spanish R.Albert Baptistwho started as the fourteenth seed, decided not to play Monte Carlo Masters 1000 due to some discomfort in his right wrist.

The winner in Doha this season announced his departure from third Masters 1000 of course due to illness which he hopes to overcome in the coming days, to resume competition next week in the Barcelona tournament.

Roberto Bautista faces his ninth presence in the Monegasque event where he missed the round of 16. But the eighteenth player on the circuit is feeling sick and not in a position to face the first commitment on gravel.

Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi, taken from qualifying, will take his place in the draw and will be British first-round rival Daniel Evans.
