Mexico will continue to host Formula 1 Grand Prix even until 2025, after sealing a renewal agreement this Thursday. The announcement was made ahead of this weekend’s test dispute thanks to the signing between government of Mexico City and the advocates.
The Mexican Grand Prix returns to Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in 2015 after a twenty-three year absence. He did so initially with a five-year contract that was extended in 2019 to 2022. Now, a third agreement has been added that extends the relationship for three years.
Expected more than 350,000 viewers visit the circuit this weekend. “Every year the number of spectators increases and the atmosphere experienced is incredible”, Expressed Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Formula 1, to show his satisfaction after the agreement was reached. “I know everyone will be happy with the news,” he congratulated himself.
