Granada, Nov 3 (EFE).- Granada and Levante, two of the clear favorites for promotion in LaLiga Santander, drew this Thursday goalless (0-0) at Nuevo Los Cármenes in a clash of wider dominance of Andalusians but to a few. occasions, equaling the second in a row for the rojiblancos and ending a four-game winning streak for the visitors.
Granada dominated in a boring first half in which there were almost no dangerous arrivals, with the locals showing their problems in attack while the Granotas were static and did not get the ball.
Dani Cárdenas only had to intervene against a long shot from Ricard Sánchez, while the benefit of the rojiblancos’ many set pieces was a pair of Miguel Rubio headers, one of them over the top of the crossbar.
Levante came out better in the second half, with Roberto Soldier repeatedly starting his team, and became more clear in the local framework, as with a good shot by Francisco Javier Hidalgo ‘Son’ that put the Raul Fernandez.
Roger Brugué spoiled the visitor’s goal with a couple of good chances against a Granada that got worse as the minutes ticked by.
The locals, however, recovered and finished the game better, driven by Alberto Perea and Bryan Zaragoza, who collided with Cárdenas in a good selection to score in the 89th minute.
