Neuville and Lappi They will compete in all events of the season in the Hyundai i20 N Rally1, with a third car shared by Dani Sordo and Craig Breen.
With the confirmed Thierry Neuville for a full season will be Esapekka Lappiwinner of the 2017 Rally Finland with three podium finishes in the 2022 campaign and third in Sweden, Finland and Ypres.
The third Hyundai i20 N Rally1 will be shared by the experienced Dani Sordo and the Irish Craig Breen.
Sordo has been with Hyundai Motorsport since the company’s inaugural season in the WRC and has played a major role in its growth and development.
“Experience has been the number one priority for our 2023 WRC line-up.. With Thierry, Esapekka, Dani and Craig, we have a strong combination of drivers who can lead the new season”, explained in the note of the manufacturer, the president of Hyundai Motorsport, Sean Kim.
“We can look forward to the 2023 season with more encouragement and more motivationknow that we have a strong and experienced team. Esapekka will be a great addition to our team, and I’m sure he will bring a valuable perspective to our operation,” said Neuville.
