“Getting the championship is a good challenge, because it’s not easy to keep the desire”emphasized Bautista, who assured that now at the age of 38 he is more mature and knows how to handle good and bad moments better than when he was champion 16 years ago.

The man from Talavera became the first Ducati rider to achieve more than 600 points on a superbike, where he indicated that in 2023 they will continue to be there to defend the world and “hopefully repeat the title before 16 years,” he said between laughs.
For her part, the mayor of Talavera de la Reina, Tita García Élez, gave the athlete a Mondas ceramic stick with the number one because it “represents the values of the town and brought it to the highest”, the councilor featured.
