Acosta received an invitation from KTM to ride one of the RC16 MotoGP prototypes as a prize on Monday, but wind and rain made this first contact inadvisable.

The Catalan had to adapt to this new environment and worked hard to find a good ‘feeling’, even if the rain did not dampen his enthusiasm, as shown by the 15 laps he completed on Monday apart from the 23 accumulated in the dry.
Both Acosta and Arenas will return to the charge in 2023 and the Red Bull KTM Ajo will face a new test on March 14 and 15, at the same Andalusian track, before facing the Official Test in Portimao, from March 17 to 19. month .
