Brazil started the World Cup in Qatar with a win against Serbia (2-0) which, however, was marred by an injury to Neymar, who had to retire in the last minutes due to a sprained right ankle as a result of a blow in a play with the middle Nikola Milenkovic.
After the match, Raphinha spoke about Neymar’s injury and was furious with the passivity of the referees.
“The World Cup without Neymar? No, because he’s fine, he has a sprain but it’s normal in a match”, assured the FC Barcelona player before expressing his anger: “The referees are going to have to look a little better at the kicks than received because it can’t happen again”.
Neymar is awaiting the results of the tests he will undergo in the next 24-48 hours, although the Brazilian sectioner, Tite, has expressed his confidence that he can continue to play in the World Cup.
