Lleyton Hewitt, The captain of the Australian Davis Cup, endlessly uttered the word “pride” to describe his feelings after qualifying for the final after defeating Croatia (2-1) and said that now he will sit in front of the board to draw up a winning plan.

“That was in my mind. I wanted my revenge. I went out on a mission and played good tennis and gave my team and my country a fighting chance,” he said.
“I know what my role is: to be firm as nails. I am very proud of myself,” he added.
De Minaur indicated that during the match against Cilic he felt on several occasions that “his back was against the wall” and warned: “there is only one way to break that wall: to go forward with full force.”
“I know what my job is. My job is to keep us alive and I’m happy to do whatever I can for my country,” he said.
jordan thompson he indicated that he was not disappointed by not playing a single match, noting that he wanted “any role”.
“Being in the final is a feeling I can’t describe,” he said.
