Ruud’s Norway vs. Djokovic’s Serbia in 2023 Davis Cup preview

The Draw pairs for Davis Cup 2023 qualifying rounda stage that Spain and Italy will not have to play after being invited to the stage of the ITF and Kosmos Tennis, brought Serbia’s Nokak Djokovic through with Norway’s Casper Ruudin addition to Croatia-Austria, Finland-Argentina, Chile-Kazakhstan and Colombia-Great Britain, among other clashes.

This round, which brings together 24 countries to fight for 12 spots, will be played in a home and away format on February 3 and 4 or February 4 and 5 of the same month.

Each crossing will have two singles on the first day and one double and another two singles on the second day of competition.

The 12 teams that achieve victory in this qualifier will advance to the final group stage of the next edition of the Davis Cup, where Spain and Italy and this year’s finalists, Australia and Canada, await. That stage will be held during the week of September 11, 2023 at various venues.
