Aperribay: “They say I’m too optimistic”

Date:

Jokin Aperribay affirmed that he will face the new mandate with “more enthusiasm” than before and, once he is re-elected, he appreciates his great success. This would allow him to become the longest serving president in the club’s history, surpassing José Luis Orbegozo. “I’ve never had an individual desire,” he said. “What that generation did will never happen again.”

From the long journey of 14 years that the businessman led the club, he remains in the “loyalty of the directors.” Aperribay argues that this is “the first reference to get things done” and stops at some valid names, “from Iñaki Otegi to Loren, Andoni Iraola…”, to assert that “we have never had any problems “.

“It is very good” for Aperribay who has no objection to his mandate. “The results of these last years are better than the previous ones, and the ascent to the First Division is a major milestone,” recalled the president.

Aperribay is “excited about the base being established so that Real can meet the challenges.” In a personal capacity, he admits that “they say I am too optimistic”, and then highlights that “La Real has human capital in its workers and fans”. In any case, “we don’t need to put on the medal of having a magic wand.”

Aperribay reflects the fact that “any of us who are from the True dream of the True. The stimulus is for the fans to continue as they are now, having the best occupancy ratios in the field and in the territory”, where “we have to continue working”.
