The FCB Players Association elections have been called

The board of directors of the FC Barcelona Players Association approved on Tuesday the call for elections for the entity’s presidency. The electoral process will end next Tuesday, January 17, 2023 on voting day where 714 former soccer players from FC Barcelona who are members of the Society. The new president will emerge from these elections, who will succeed from ramon alfonsedawho has been in charge of the Association since 2003. He will be the eleventh president in the entity’s history and the final candidacies will be announced on December 19.

Who can stand for election?

Any former FC Barcelona player with at least 1 year of seniority in the Association can stand for election. In the case of the president or presidents, they must have a FC Barcelona first team record.

Who can vote?

Any former FC Barcelona football player with at least 1 year of seniority in Agrupació. In this call, the electoral roll consisted of 714 people.

How to vote?

You can vote in person at the headquarters of the Association on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm There is also the possibility to vote by written communication to the Board of Elections according to the procedure established in the Articles of Association.

The main dates of the electoral calendar

November 29th: call for election.

December 9: constitution of the Electoral Board.

December 12-14: presentation of candidacies.

December 19th: declaration of candidacies and start of electoral campaign.

January 17: voting at the headquarters of the Players Association.
