His team failed to qualify for the group stage, but that was no excuse for them not to get started to go to the World Cup as a supporter of Spain, a country with which they have a special relationship. The Twitter user @Nortes_Fran told on his Twitter account, because he knows a member of his family: «In my house we have been welcoming a Belarusian girl in the summer for 10 years to improve her health and the problem of radiation exposure because they live close to the border with Ukraine (Chernobyl zone)’. What was his surprise when this girl sent him a photo last Thursday of his brother and sister-in-law near the stadium where Spain played against Japan, dressed in very Spanish uniforms.
The boy wore a shirt in support of the national team, but what surprised him the most was the girl’s outfit: «Her sister-in-law wears the Cartagena shirt of the year 2017/2018 (if I remember correctly, the one with the black line, white, black from Joma),” he explains. Fran couldn’t get out of his surprise and exclaimed, “You shit”, accompanied by a video of the pair in front of the stadium chanting “Spain”, in a very Belarusian accent.
Finally Fran got a picture of the two youngsters in the stadium, in the stands and witnessed the game where Spain failed to beat Japan, but still managed to qualify and advance to the round of 16 of the World Cup in Qatar . “From Belarus with love.
