The FIFA Disciplinary Committee fined the associations of Croatia, Serbia and Saudi Arabia for various reasons related to their participation in the World Cup in Qatar.
The Croatian Federation was fined 50,000 Swiss francs (50,674 euros) for insults its fans hurled at Milan Borjan, a Canadian goalkeeper of Serb origin, during the first leg of the match between the two teams on November 27 .
The Serbian Association was fined 20,000 Swiss francs (20,270 euros) for displaying a flag in their dressing room with a map of Kosovo before the match against Brazil on November 24.
Meanwhile, the Saudi Association had to pay two fines of 15,000 Swiss francs (15,195 euros) for their team’s misconduct (a total of six warnings received by the players) in matches against Argentina and Mexico on November 22 and 30, respectively.
