The three points of the Aragonese derby remain in La Romareda

Date:

The Aragonese derby was played this Saturday between Real Zaragoza and SD Huesca he chose the locals, who clearly beat their rivals from Huesca by three goals to none in a match that amounted to LaLiga SmartBank’s twentieth game.

The match was intense and, in some sections, atypical, even with the referee injured, and ended in a result that gave the blanquillos the wind to enter the relegation places and made it difficult for Huesca to get closer to those in promotion.

In fact, the derby began with different approaches, with Real Zaragoza sixteenth in the table, facing the relegation zone with only four points, and Sociedad Deportiva Huesca ninth, with an eye in promotion, incidentally, another four points away.

Different needs for a clash where the hands came with the loss of the injured Cristian Álvarez, Petrovic, due to suspension, and Azón, while Larra was left on the list at the last minute and Lasure, who is doubtful because with physical problems, did not completely enter the call.

For their part, Huesca faced the game without Enzo Lombrado and Marc Mateu due to injury, Juan Carlos Real due to suspension, and Juanjo Nieto, who was recently incorporated into the team and completed only four training sessions with the team of Huesca.

Rebollo’s possession of the white goal was surprising, instead of Ratón, for a game that could not have started better for the locals, since they only took 3 minutes to pierce the goal of Huesca.

This was after a start in which Mollejo and Bermejo began to cause panic on the right side, until Francho latched onto a low rebound in front of the area that squeezed tightly past Andrés Fernández’s left post.

The blue and whites soon doubled their advantage, as Giuliano shot home from close range in the 14th minute, after receiving a ball from Francés and Zapater in the area that came from the right corner.

Earlier, Mollejo came very close to extending the lead with a one-on-one that was cleared by the Huesca goalkeeper in the 13th minute, in a game that started after Francho cut off a counterattack in midfield.

Huesca reactivated and began to generate arrivals in the local area; in one of them was when the referee advised Jair and Carrillo with a yellow card, in the 17th minute, after chaos broke out after Giuliano’s resounding rejection of Gerard Valentín.

During that time, a back-to-back corner kick by Vilarrasa and a header from Escriche, in the 30th minute, were the main spice of a game that seemed to be entering a phase of torpor.

However, a powerful shot from Vilarrasa was cleared by Rebollo and a double chance from Giuliano and Vada a few minutes later enlivened the end of the first half which lasted 2 minutes.

The second half started quietly, with two corners for the locals and visitors and little danger in places; indeed, the most notable of these early stages was the injury to Arcediano Monescillo, who had to be replaced by the fourth official, Pérez Peraza, in the 64th minute.

Huesca was more dominant and the few chances that there were, not counting some attacks by Giuliano, a fighter throughout the match, were on the side of Barça, although without much danger, so it gave the impression of being quite comfortable Zaragoza without danger and has the cushion of two goals achieved at the beginning of the game.

This was how the second half went with Huesca reducing their lead with a header from Escriche in the 79th minute narrowly missing, but, soon after, it was Zaragoza, led by Mollejo, who added a third locker goal, although it was disallowed for offside.

Finally, the third came in the 93rd minute, after the referee awarded a penalty for Villar’s handball inside the area, a maximum penalty confirmed by VAR and enforced by Vada with a powerful shot to the left.
