The organization of dakar rally announced this Friday that the Saturday’s stage, the seventh of competition, it remains canceled for motorcycles and quads due to difficult weather and high fatigue levels accumulated by the pilots in this part of the competition.
So the special connecting Riyadh and Al Duwadimi while 333 kilometers is left over cancelled. In this way, the pilots will only deal with the connection until the exit at Al Duwadimi of the eighth stage.
Bikes and quads will leave Riyadh at 10am (8am CET) to head out on Sunday’s special, reduced to a total of 345km. In this way, the riders will have a calmer day after the hardness shown by the route in these first days of the race.
Of course, the situation does not change for the remaining categories. Cars and trucks will face the stagelike the Dakar Classic drivers.
