The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) has condemned this monday the attack in democratic institutions ruled by followers of Jair Bolsonaroformer president of the country, defeated in the polls by Ignacio Lula da Silva.
The CBF used social networks to underline that “strongly rejected to use our t-shirt undemocratic practices and vandalism”. Many of the Bolsonarista assailants were wearing ‘yellow green’ t-shirt of the Brazilian team, which caused the CBF to distance itself from this type of action.
“The shirt of the Brazilian team is symbol of the joy of our people. It is to encourage, encourage and love the people. The CBF is a non-partisan and democratic entity. And we want the shirt will be used to unite and not to separate brazilian people“, concluded the organism.
