Sevilla will pay its members for the 609 tickets provided by Atlético Osasuna for the Copa del Rey quarterfinal match, which will be played next Wednesday (10:00 pm) at El Sadar, between the winners of the raffle opened for its subscribers to register.
The Sevilla club announced this Friday in a statement that, “having to face a new decisive tie away from home, the team needs the support of its people more than ever”, so it will pay for the winners in said draw the amount of tickets reserved for visiting fans at El Sadar in Pamplona.
Sevilla confirmed that it had adopted this decision, worth 27,405 euros, after learning that the Navarrese club “made a total of 609 seats in the visiting section available to Sevilla fans at a price of 45 euros” and “tried everyone meant” to lower it, “but in the end Osasuna kept the price initially set.”
For this reason, he added in his letter, the Sevilla board of directors decided to “pay the tickets available to all season ticket holders, red and white, of the club who decided to travel to Pamplona to see the game on the site.”
To do this, it has organized a raffle in which all members can register and will be active until this Saturday at 11:59 pm At 00:00 on Sunday, the reference numbers of the ticket winners will be announced.
To prevent members from registering, then not traveling and leaving tickets unused by other Sevilla fans, it will be necessary to pay for the ticket at the time of registration for the draw. The club will return 45 euros of the amount within 48 hours of work to all the unlucky ones, as well as those who match them through the lottery and get it.
The ticket collection protocol, which can be in Seville or Pamplona, will be known as soon as the club closes the operation of the initiative.
