In this case, Miguel Angel Gil may be punished according to Article 106 of the Disciplinary Code which speaks of “Statements in any way about members of the arbitration group or members of regulatory guarantee bodies” and says the following: ” The making by any person subject to sports discipline of statements by any means in which the honesty and impartiality of any member of the arbitration panel or of the bodies of the RFEF are questioned; as well as statements that indicates disapproval of the activities of any member of the aforementioned groups when they are conducted with contempt or when offensive, insulting, humiliating, or obscene language is used, the following shall be punished:
– In the case of soccer players, coaches, physical trainers, delegates, doctors, ATS/FTP or equipment managers, from four to twelve games of suspension and a fine in the amount of 601 to 3,005.06 euros .
– In the case of managers, clubs or any person or entity, with a fine between 601 and 3,005.06 euros.
