Nottingham Forest never tire of signing. Two days after the winter transfer window closed, the historic English club today announced the signing of 33-year-old Ghanaian striker André Ayew until the end of the season.
A signing that Nottingham has made since André Ayew, the older brother of Jordan Ayew, a Crystal Palace player, has been without a team since last Sunday he ended his contract with Qatari Al Sadd after becoming the captain of the Ghana team in the 2022 World Cup.

});
It is neither more nor less than Nottingham’s 30th signing this season, counting the summer market, since last May he was promoted to the Premier after a 23-year absence.
23 in summer and 7 in winter
The endless list consists of Gibbs-White (Wolves), Awoniyi (Union Berlin), Neco Williams (Liverpool), Dennis (Watford), Oriel Mangala (Stuttgart), Niakhaté (Mainz), Biancone (Troyes), O’Brien and Toffolo.(Huddersfield), Freuler (Atalanta), Omar Richards (Bayern Munich), Lodi (Atlético), Ui-jo Hwang (Bordeaux), Boly (Wolves), Bowler (Blackpool), Aguilera (Alajuelense), Kouyaté (Crystal Palace), Hennessey (Burnley), Lingard and Dean Henderson (Manchester United), Badé (Rennes, now at Sevilla), Kanuric (free) and Aurier (free). They all arrived in the summer and seven more did so in the winter: Danilo and Scarpa (Palmeiras), Felipe Atlético), Shelvey (Newcastle), Keylor Navas (PSG), Chris Wood (Newcastle) and André Ayew (free ).
Ayew returns to British football after spells at Swansea, which he left in 2021 for Al Sadd, and West Ham and will be coached again by Steve Cooper, who led him to the Welsh team.

“It feels good to sign for Nottingham Forest,” said Ayew. “Steve Cooper is someone who knows me very well and knows how to work with me on and off the pitch. I know what I can bring to the team, I’m ready to give it all and make sure we can stay in the Premier League.”
André Ayew holds the record for games with the Ghana team (113) and participated in three World Cups.
Nottingham, after being the bottom team for several days, have re-emerged in recent games to put themselves in 13th place in the Premier, four points from the relegation zone.
