A new Chelsea ad, which its new owner Todd Boehly wants to rebuild. The Stamford Bridge club announced on Thursday that Laurence Stewart (after his time at Monaco) and Paul Winstanley have now taken over their respective positions as Chelsea’s co-sports directors. Indeed, Winstanley has already overseen the winter transfer market for the ‘blues’.
Winstanley, who joined Chelsea in Novemberis already in charge of overseeing the fantastic winter transfer market for the Stamford Bridge club this past January (with 333 million euros invested in the acquisition of 8 players, the last arrival being Enzo Fernández, worth 130). Stewart, who worked at RB Leipzig, Manchester City and the England team, joins next week from Monaco, where he was technical director.

The sports co-directors will work together with Graham Potter, coach of the ‘blues’, and his coaching staff. Stewart and Winstanley’s team also includes Christopher Vivell (technical director), Joe Shields, Kyle Macaulay and Jim Fraser (promising search and transfer) and Matthew Hallam (data and analysis).
