A pilot ran into a competitor during an Enduro test in France, specifically the Enduropale du Touquet, which generated a lot of reaction in the motorcycle community.
The video initially shows how the rider who would be the victim of the hit-and-run loses control of the motorcycle at the start of the test, falls to the ground and hits another rider. Finally, he was lying on the asphalt when the hero of the controversial action arrived at the scene, who after seeing the accident stopped his motorcycle.
At that moment when the unexpected hit-and-run happened, as he ipso facto decided to let off the gas to literally run over his rival, who was writhing in pain on the asphalt because of the hit-and-run.
This action caused an outcry from viewers as the pilot went ahead, in addition to angering the networks where many users expressed their discomfort considering that the pilot should have waited for to his rival who arose. There is still no information if the affected pilot suffered any injuries as a result of the collision.
There is also a request for sanction for the pilot to withdraw from the competition. The French website Mes Opinions (My opinions) requests that the pilot be excluded, also giving his name and bib number: Tom Maurizi, numbered #322.
