He United Kingdom asserted this Friday that, if Russia it continues to attack Ukraine, both this country and its ally belarus they must have not allowed participate in the next one Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
UK Minister for Sport and Culture, Lucy Frazerit said it was friday “As long as (Vladimir) Putin continues the barbarism of war”, Russia and Belarus “should not be represented” at the Olympic Games.
Frazer’s statements, distributed through social networks, came after a telematic meeting held this Friday morning in which 35 countries took part, including Ukraine, with its president, Volodymyr Zelensky, who is now week traveled to the United Kingdom to meet with Rishi Sunak and King Carlos III.
Frazer also confirmed that the countries participating in the convention will soon publish a statement with what was agreed at the meeting.
