Swedish Armand Duplantis won the pole vault event at the indoor meet of berlin. He jumped over it 6.06mand then failed three times at 6.22 mone centimeter better than his world record.
Olympic (2021), world (2022) and European (2022) champion in the specialty, “Mondo” Duplantis completed his 42nd competition of six meters or morethe second of the winter after his 6.10 m in Uppsala (Sweden) a week ago.
In Berlin, Duplantis passed the first four heights of 5.60m, 5.82m, 5.91 and 6.06m on his first attempt, before going for his world record attempt.
