Paul Pogba’s return to the pitch is imminent. The French midfielder, who has yet to make his debut in his second spell at Juventus since arriving last summer due to injuries, is back in training regularly today with his team-mates, albeit a difficult one for Massimiliano Allegri to include him in the squad for the second leg of the playoff that the ‘bianconeri’ will play on Thursday at home against Nantes (1-1 in the first leg).
Undergoing surgery on the right meniscus on September 5, Pogba has clinically recovered from his injury and was called up for Juve-Monza on January 29, but did not play and shortly afterwards suffered from some discomfort which, according to to Allegri, he will have 20 days off.
Deadlines have been reached and Pogba has now taken part in the training match as normal with the reserve team, although Allegri would prefer that he not travel to Nantes to continue training and improve his set-up for the Juve-Torino derby of Next Tuesday in Serie A.
