Chris Kirk was crowned champion of the Palm Beach County Honda Classic tournament this Sunday (Florida), by defeating Eric Cole in the decisive ‘playoff’ after both finished the tournament with a cumulative fourteen under par.
Kirk, who finished the fourth round with a 1-under 69, won again on the PGA Tour eight years after the last time.
Cole managed to force a playoff by completing his round with 67 impacts, three under par.
however, the best performance of the day came from Venezuelan Jhonattan Vegaswho delivered a card of 64 shots, six under par.
The Maturín native finished the tournament with an aggregate score of -5.
Behind him, Argentine Tano Goya made par, while Augusto Núñez finished the tournament with a combined score of three over par.
