Terzic stops Emre Can’s scrambling

Date:

Edin Terzic did not want to add more fuel to the fire after the ‘rajada’ monumental of Emre Can against the Dutch referee Danny Mackelie in the Champions League against the Borussia Dortmund lost to him Chelsea and that means eliminating the German team (2-0).

“We lost because of him,” the Turkish midfielder said after the game as a result of the penalty the referee ordered to be repeated for invading the area and Kai Havertz ended up being a substitute. He added: “I don’t give a shit who entered, he’s been arrogant since the game.”

Jude Bellingham joined the critics, although he was a little more helpful: “Repetition is a joke,” he commented while Edin Terzic silenced the words of both players. “If he took five minutes to make a decision, it means it was not easy for him,” he said in reference to Makkelie.

Then he added: “But as the coach of the team, I am responsible for the performance of the team and my working group, but not for the job of the referee. We did not talk much about the referee last week and we will not start with now.”
