“It’s something that happened. All we can do now is learn from it and turn the page. I’m glad we have another game today because it’s a chance to go up and forget what happened,” Rashford said at a press conference.
“The defeat against Liverpool was enough. The score doesn’t matter when you lose a match like this, or against another rival. It’s not a feeling I like. But it’s useless to keep thinking about it, because we can’t change it. Now we have to reset, go back to what we know how to do and win this Thursday,” he said.
With his phenomenal level in recent months, being a player that most of the goals were scored in Europe since the end of the World Cup, Rashford has acknowledged that what has benefited him this season is being healthy and fit.
“There is a good preseason in the summer and also a new coach arrived, with a new way of playing and that also excited me. I wanted to give it my all from then on and never looked back.”
