All potential Manchester United buyers have been invited to launch events at Old Trafford to give them an inside look at the club. Representatives of Sir Jim Ratcliffe (owner of Ineos) and the Sheikh of Qatar Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani will attend these visits to the mythical Theater of Dreams.
Ratcliffe and Hamad Al Thani are among the main candidates to buy Manchester United if the Glazer family, heavily criticized by sectors of the ‘red devils’ club fans, decide to sell it. Events will take place on how United can generate more revenue.
Ratcliffe’s representatives will visit Old Trafford next weekend, and the 70-year-old magnate has yet to confirm whether he will attend in person. Sheikh Jassim’s delegation will also make its visit next week. It remains to be seen whether, in the event of a sale, Joel and Avram Glazer will retain a portion of United’s shares.
