the Americans Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele this Sunday captured the Zurich Classic in New Orleans (USA)ending the tournament with a total of -29 and two shots ahead of the pair made up of fellow Americans Billy Horschel and Sam Burns (-27).
Cantlay, number 4 in the world rankings, and Schauffele, ranked 12th, they delivered a card of 72 shots on the final day (at least), but that was enough to lift the trophybecause Horschel and Burns were not satisfied with the -4 harvested this Sunday.
Cantlay and Scheuffele took a big step toward the title this Saturday, when they finished their round with a brilliant twelve under par.
For Cantlay it was the seventh title of his Tour careerwhile for Schauffele it was the fifth victory, three years after his last trophy.
The podium ended with the American couple built by Doc Redman and Sam Ryderwho finished the tournament with -24.
This tournament was only played in pairs on the PGA Tour.
