The Catalan Athletics Federation has been chosen by the Spanish Athletics Federation as the best regional federation in Spain in 2022 for the eighth consecutive year.
The Federation reached the top of the podium thanks to the points obtained in all 2022 individual Spanish Championships, where it achieved places in the finals.
La Catalana is also the autonomous federation with more Spanish champions and full medals in 2022, both indoors, with 14 medals (four gold), and outdoors, 18 medals (seven gold). In addition, they also won eight of the Spanish Championships of the Autonomous Federations, in Absolute, in Sub18 and Sub16, in Men’s and Women’s Trail Running, in Men’s Absolute Cross Country, in Women’s Sub23 and in female sub20.
The Catalan Athletics Federation will receive the award in Gala of Spanish Athletics which will be held this Saturday, March 18, at the Goyeneche Auditorium, headquarters of the Spanish Olympic Committee in Madrid.
