The Italian-Argentine Mateo Retegui was summoned this Friday for the first time for the Italian team, whose coach, Roberto Manciniannounced the list for the first matches of the qualifying phase for Euro 2024.
retegui, 23 years old, plays for Tigre and is currently the leading scorer in Argentina’s championship. He was born in Argentina, but he also has an Italian passport through his father. Retegui’s grandfather was of Sicilian origin.
