Today, April 25, the official route of Itzulia Women 2022. The first edition of the race will have three stages on the lines to start with Vitoria-Gasteiz and ends in Donostia-San Sebastian.
The first Female Itzulia It will take place from May 13 to 15 and which will cover 363.60 km. The route will cross Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, in that order, ending with the Clásica San Sebastián route.
The race will have 13 scoring ports: nine from the 3rd Cat., Three from the 2nd Cat. and one from the 1st Cat. For intermediate sprints, there will be 6 in total; two in each stage.

Vitoria-Gasteiz-Labastida / 105.90km
Stage where the start will be demanding with the 3rd port, where the breakout will form. Until we reach Labastida, approx. km 45, it is conducted on beautiful roads and from this point begins the demanding part of the stage, with two consecutive ports. From km. 67 starts on a descending route, and being 15 km. last pestosos with continuous increase and decrease.
Mallabia – Mallabia / 117.90km
Typical stage of Biscay orography with continuous ups and downs, in which 5 scoring ports of the 3rd category and one of the 1st category are climbed.
It will be a difficult stage for the leaders, from different teams, to take control of the race as there is no required ascent to break the peloton. The stage will end with a slight ascent.
Donostia-San Sebastian-Donostia-San Sebastian / 139.80km
Stage with the same route as the previous 2 years, this is the route made in Donostiako Klasikoa Women’s.
This is the longest stage of its Itzulia Women, where Jaizkibel will be the port that will determine the tactics of each of the teams who want to hurt the virtual leader of the race, where the Murgil wall is the judge who determines the stage and possibly the final winner of Itzulia Women’s 2022.
