FIFA The deadline for applications interested in organizing the 2027 Women’s World Cup. All interested parties must complete a declaration of interest and send it to FIFA by 5pm on April 21.
The form must be signed by the president or general secretary of the member federation. In the case of a joint application, interested member federations must send the completed declaration of interest form individually, but add the name of the other member federation(s) involved in the application.
The FIFA has sent to all confederations and dependent federations a document offering general information to all member federations on some important parts of the selection process such as the calendar and the selection process, competition format; the basic infrastructure requirements for organizing the tournament, the content and basic information needed to prepare the bid or FIFA’s evaluation method for bids. The same document also includes the principles of the operating model for holding the competition.
Next April 21 is when the term to present this declaration of interest ends.
The deadline for sending the candidacy agreement to FIFA is scheduled for May 19. Four days later, on May 23, when FIFA will send the bid and organizational documents and content to the member federations of bidding. The deadline for sending candidacies to FIFA ends on December 8.
The peak moment will come in the year 2024. Initially in May next year when the FIFA Council will select the bids and the FIFA Congress will choose the host or hosts of the 2027 women’s World Cup.
