Thibaut Courtoisgoalkeeper of real Madridlamented that his team could not score “another goal” against Chelsea (2-0) in the first leg of the quarterfinals of Champions League and hope they “don’t” regret it on return.
“When you play against ten you have the feeling that you can kill the tie, but they can leave with the feeling of scoring a goal. 2-0 is a good result, but the thorn remains in scoring a third or fourth goal. I hope I don’t regret not scoring another goal here in the second leg”, he commented to Movistar+.
“They had a good start with a very good counterattack. Then, making a save after the goal is worth a lot. Very happy with that save,” he added.
“In the second half we played a very complete defensive game. We just needed to maintain long possessions in the last two minutes,” he analyzed.
“We have to treat it like a draw, like we did against Barcelona, like what happened to them last year. I hope we start well and score the first goal” he appreciated.
