In the women’s race, the Kenyan also won Magdalene Maasai29 years old, with a period of 2:24:12, thirteen seconds ahead of her compatriot Agnes Keino (2:24:25). In third place was Gadise Mulu, from Ethiopia, with 2:24:50.
About 35,000 runners from 130 countries competed in the 40th edition of the “Vienna City Marathon” with a temperature of around 18 degrees on a sunny morning.
