Very importantly, David Aganzo announced the creation of a new End of Career Fund for Third Federation and First FUTFEM Federation affiliates. Created with AFE’s own funds, the union once again demonstrates its steadfast and unwavering commitment to its members.
David Aganzo He emphasized in his speech that “the End of Career Fund for these two categories is a fact that for next season, something that this board of directors did after the election two years ago. An accomplished goal we are very proud of.”
The AFE president also highlighted the various agreements and negotiations the association is carrying out to improve working conditions in all national categories. “A key issue for the AFE is to protect your rights so that you can work in working conditions consistent with your profession through the various collective agreements or labor improvement agreements already in some case we have already signed, such as the case of General agreement of the 1st and 2nd Division, or that we are talking, to reach all the national categories, both men and women, of Spanish football”.
“We are doing the new Athlete Statute which will consist of all rights acquired by the AFE to be included in the recently released Sports Law. We were able to regulate our legitimacy to sign agreements or key issues such as taxation, training, athletic insurance, equality, maternity or image rights, among others”, said the president of AFE which refers to the new Sports Law approved in 2022.
In his speech, David Aganzo wanted to make it clear that all the complaints filed by those who wanted to spoil the election to elect the AFE board of directors, held in 2021, have been dismissed in the courts. “It is very clear that the electoral process is legal, clean and transparent. For this board of directors it is important to maintain the good name and reputation of AFE and that is why I want to put this on record in the face of the attempt, by some, to block and control our union”, he stressed .
On the other hand, David Aganzo wants to send a message of freedom: “We and we mark the destiny of the association, no one else has the right to do so. You are the essence of this sport because as I always repeat, no footballer no football”.
