Switzerland Jil Teichman end the good Ukrainian career Anhelina Kalinina in the Madrid tournament, where he signed his first semifinals in a WTA 1,000, by defeating his 6-3 and 6-4.
His rival in the semifinals will appear in tonight’s clash in between Sarah Sorribesthe only Spanish survivor, and the American Jessica Pegulatwelfth seed.
Teichmann hit two accelerations in the middle and at the end of the first heat that left the Ukrainian without an answer.
