“We lack attitude; we cannot walk in the fields of Spain”

Date:

Daniel Ceballos The midfielder of Real Madrid, was very critical of the game of his team after the defeat against Valencia (1-0) in a match in which they lacked “attitude” because, he considered, they could not walk “in the fields of Spain”.

“We lacked character. The first 45 minutes we were not good. We have to play with the dignity that this shirt and this club demand; and not wander the Spanish fields,” he told Movistar+.

“The City game took its toll on us physically because we ran a lot after the ball. But today we should have done much more because today we were other players,” he added.

Besides, ceballos appreciated the party’s controversy about the racist insults complained of by the Brazilian Vinicius Junior and his subsequent expulsion.

“This is nothing new. Vinícius continues to be disrespected in all fields in Spain. We have to take care of him because he is a bastion for our league and for our club. I hope the League will protect him and we will see the best that Vinícius,” he declared..

“The coach asked him if he wanted to continue playing. Vinícius is a professional and said he wants to continue helping the team. Rivals cannot leave unscathed,” he added.

“Vinícius’ Second Division sign is wrong. The Valencia fans deserve respect and apologize, but I hope the Valencia fans do the same”, he completed.
