Danish Holger Rune, recent finalist in Rome, will play in the Queen’s tournament, where the Spaniards have already confirmed his participation Carlos Alcaraz.
Rune joins a list of participants that also includes five-time tournament champion Andy Murray, two-time winner Matteo Berrettini and British number one Cameron Norrie.
Rune, winner of the 1,000 Masters at Paris-Bercy last season, was in the ‘top ten’ this year and reached the finals of Monte Carlo, where he lost to Andrey Rublev, and Rome, where he fell to Daniil Medvedev .
At 19 years old, Rune is one of the great promises of the future of world tennis and seeks to maintain a great rivalry with Alcaraz. Last year the Murcian missed this tournament before Wimbledon due to an elbow injury.
