The second edition of the Andalusia Elite Women Cycling Tour starts this wednesday Alcalá la Real (Jaén) with five episodes and last in Castellar de la Sierra on June 4, two more than its premiere in 2022, 114 runners from 19 teams and 552 kilometers in four provinces –Jaen, Granada, Malaga and Cadiz– where a Cuban successor is being sought Arlenis Sierra.
The race will grow and so will its peloton, which this year will have 19 teams, two more than last year.
The list is headed by the current champion of the Andalusian round, the Movistar teamwho prevailed in his Cuban debut Arlenis Sierraabsent this year.

In addition to the telephone squad, there will be two other teams belonging to UCI Women’s WorldTourfirst division of world women’s cycling: the Israel PremierTech–Roland swiss and the American Human Powered Health.
In addition, the subsidiaries of two other teams in the highest category will appear in the peloton: the Canyon-SRAM German and the U.A.E emirate
As for the Continentals, there will be six Spaniards: Bizkaia Durango, Cantabria Sport – Río Miera, Eneicat – CMTeam, Farto-BTC, Laboral Kutxa – Euskadi Foundation and Massi – Tactic.
Next to them, a gala structure that already knows the Ruta del Sol, the Stade Rochelais Charente-Maritimeand another debutant, Team Groupe Abadie.
Three other formations from three different continents will also be shown for the first time: the ARA | Australian Skip Capital, Colombia Pacto Por El Deporte – Colombian GW Shimano and Aromatalia – Basso Bikes – Italian Vaiano.
The list of participants is completed by the Norwegian national team, the Portuguese club Glassdrive – Chanceplus – Allegro and the malagueñas from Andalusian Cycling Club sponsored by Prolongo, which will contribute a significant local component to the Andalusian round.
The Ruta del Sol Vuelta Ciclista Andalucía Elite Women is organized by Deporinter, which is responsible for the historic Vuelta a Andalucía – Ruta el Sol for men, which every February takes colorful snakes across Andalusia.
