Mick Schumacher will return to the track in an F1 car next Wednesday with Mercedes for a tire test Pirelli within circuit of catalunyasometimes the Spanish GP this weekend.
The 24-year-old German pilot and son of the seven-time world champion Michael Schumacherlost his steering wheel last season in Haas and now he is a Mercedes tester and reserve for its novice drivers, Lewis hamilton and George Russell.
“After the Grand Prix weekend, Mick will also get his first real-world test drive of the W14 on the second day of the Pirelli tire test. He has done a great job with the team so far, working hard in the simulator and providing valuable information on the track,” said the Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff. Russell will shoot on Tuesday and Mick Schumacher will shoot on Wednesday.
