Elche CF and Real Zaragoza have already contacted Real Betis to inquire about loaning Juan Cruz for next season, although the Verdiblanco club’s idea is for the Spanish-Argentine striker to do the preseason under Manuel Pellegrini at the start next July 5 and be part of the first team for the 2023/24 season.
Juan Cruz made his debut this season with the first team of Real Betis, where he played five games, one of them as a starter against Valencia at the Mestalla, and scored a goal, which put the victory in Anoeta against in Real Society at the end of October (0-2).
Juan Cruz’s progress has been slowed by a major semitendinosus hamstring injury in his left leg, suffered in the final game of the Argentina and Chile tour in November, from which he has bounced back.
