Elche CF and Real Zaragoza have already contacted Real Betis to inquire about loaning Juan Cruz for next season, although the Verdiblanco club’s idea is for the Spanish-Argentine striker to do the preseason under Manuel Pellegrini at the start next July 5 and be part of the first team for the 2023/24 season.
Juan Cruz made his debut this season with the first team of Real Betis, where he played five games, one of them as a starter against Valencia at the Mestalla, and scored a goal, which put the victory in Anoeta against in Real Society at the end of October (0-2).
Juan Cruz’s progress has been slowed by a major semitendinosus hamstring injury in his left leg, suffered in the final game of the Argentina and Chile tour in November, from which he has bounced back. Since the game at Mestalla in which he started, on November 10, Juan Cruz has not played again in the first team of Real Betis, although he has done so in the latter stages of the season with the subsidiary.
